Here, at The Table, we create a compassionate and affirming space where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color can experience pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and parenthood with dignity, trust, and joy.
Rooted in accountability and integrity, we honor the sacred journey of birth through kindness, warmth, and genuine care for every individual and family we serve. We approach our work with unpretentious engagement—meeting each person where they are, listening deeply, and standing together in community.
Our mission is to nurture belonging, affirm the power of birthing people, and cultivate spaces where our voices, bodies, and stories are held with respect and love.

Hope Elliott, Natanya Vanderlaan and Heather Gallagher created this space because we, and the people we work with, needed it. Susan Cline Lucey has witnessed this need from afar and co-created The Table alongside us.
Our Offerings:
MOVEMENT
Using GROW Prenatal and Family Center as our platform we offer a Grow monthly membership plus BIPOC affinity flow & pilates classes. We aim to increase access and integration while honoring the need for brave spaces.
COMMUNITY
We hold a monthly virtual space, The Gathering, as a place to witness one another in the beauty and challenge of birthing and parenting while occupying our bodies of color in this world. We read, listen, write, move, practice, share and care with together.
COLLECTIVE
We are better together and we need each other. Having the privilege and access that GROW affords us, we work towards mutual aid to amplify, promote and connect individuals and organizations in our community doing this work.
